The F-tone 800G OSFP SR8 100m Transceiver is a high-quality optical module designed for utilization in 800 Gigabit Ethernet links over multimode fiber. The module features 8 independent electrical input/output channels, operating at 106. 25Gbps per channel. This transceiver comprises two transmitter/receiver units, each functioning at 850nm wavelengths. The maximum transmission distance is 100m on OM4 MMF. The module’s electrical interface complies with the 800GAUI-8 interface as defined by IEEE 802. 3ck, and it is also compliant with the OSFP MSA. It finds utility in various network applications, including internet protocol switches and routers.
