广电EOC解决方案可以充分利用现有网络同轴电缆，降低建网成本。 该方案具有施工方便、操作少、改造速度快的优点。 同轴网络中的噪声不会影响系统传输质量。 终端设备成本低，可以减少客户的投资。 EOC头是从以太网到同轴网络的高带宽桥接设备。 它负责调制与之相连的从终端设备（EOC系列）。 常位于小区AMP或接收器的位置。 单个Master可连接10～253个终端Slave，并发量可达128个客户。 该系统能够适应中国目前的HFC，并与CATV、DVB数字电视共存。
