F-tone’s GPON OLT Class B+ module is designed for 20 Km optical communication applications, and it is compliant with ITU-T G. 984. 2 GPON standard. This module can support 2. 488 Gbps continuous-mode transmission by 1490nm DFB laser and 1. 244 Gbps burst-mode reception by 1310 nm FTD/TIA. The module offers very high functionality and feature integration, accessible via a two-wire serial interface. The optical signals are multiplexed to a single-mode fiber through a standard SC connector.
